This section has an almost constant depth. The sensitivity to the direction of transmission is very weak in this case. There are larger differences in the TL due to the two different ocean conditions (strong/weak cold dome), both in the mean TL field and in the detailed dominant sound paths. But these differences appear more in higher frequencies (600 and 900 Hz cases) than in the lower one (300 Hz case), which is different from the along-shelf1 case. |
