This section has a complex bathymetry. The sensitivity to the direction of transmission is very strong in this case. The variability in the sound speed section leads to different acoustic results. The two ocean estimates (weak/strong Cold Dome) also lead to different dominant sound propagation paths, especially in the deep ocean for the down-slope direction and in the shallow ocean for the up-slope direction. |
