As a reminder, 12:00Z = 08:00 EDT, i.e., local time is 4 hours behind Zulu time.

Notes:

• One of the surface drifter locations received had a time-stamp of Aug 13, and hence was not used.
• The "horizontal" second branch of the coastal front around 41.12°N now also shows up at the surface due to wind forcing (band of hurricane Gert on Wed).
