The upwelling event from Race Point to Dennis has been sampled by the Lucky Lady and hopefully partly by the REMUS AUV. The Odessy AUV's were not in operation, because of mooring buoy failure and recovery.

The overall plan for the next couple days is based on a clement and calm weather situation forecast. Our ocean forecasts hence lead to a buoyancy circulation establishing itself, close to the classical situation. We thus plan to use:

- The Oceanus CTD's: to sample the CCBay and MBay borders, the MBay BC, the MBay outflow, at bay-scale resolution.

- The Lucky Lady: to sample the CCBay, at mesoscale resolution.

- The AUV's: to sample the sub-mesoscale sites of specific scientific interests.

For tomorrow, Sep 24:

(1) Ed Levine's REMUS should run from the Mooring docking side towards Plymouth staying around 10 m depth.

(2) The Lucky Lady will cover the western part of CCBay.

(3) The Odessy AUV's should run a two dimensional investigation off and along the western shore of CCBay (Plymouth to Sandwich), from the mooring docking site.

(4) The Oceanus CTD's should sample the CCBay inflow region, around Scituate to Plymouth (Track 5)

Lucky Lady Plan

Tomorrow (Friday, Sep 25), the Lucky Lady will cover the western part of CCBay (Track 10). I will email shortly the suggested tracks for Sep 26-28 (latlon and epsc2 file). The pattern for these days is to cover the CCBay, at mesoscale resolution, hence supporting the sub-mesoscale AUV samplings.

25 September - Track 10
26 September - Track 1
27 September - Track 11
28 September - Track 9
