Preliminary steps to running MS-EVA

(1) Create mean density profiles & pressure.

    (a) in pressure/mean_file run CALC_DENA.M to construct
a basic mean density profile. This also gives an
estimate for a central value of Coriolis to be used
        in constructing the pressure.

        Time: seconds

    (b) in pressure/mean_file run PROFL.M to refine the
        mean density profile.

        Time: seconds

    (c) in pressure run PRESJOB to construct the total pressure
        and overwrite salinity with it.

Time: 20 minutes (see appendix A)

(2) Construct mean density and derivatives on selected flat levels.

    (a) in Profile run DRHO_DZ.M to make rhomean & derivs on flat levels

        Time: seconds

(3) Interpolate model fields to selected flat levels.

    (a) in interpol run INTPJOB to interpolate PE to flat levels

Time: 18 hours (see appendix B)
