      1. 3D modeling for Mien-Hua canyon: the set up time is about 2/3 hours or so. FOR3D running time for north Mien-Hua: 1m dr, 1 m dz, and 0.1 degree in d-theta and 300 degree, now is taking about 23 hours to finish. I would assume the same amount time to run this case for Mien-Hua canyon.
      2. Working on the CTD data near Mien Hua canyon: or other ship board data, to see the huge gradient of temperature/ salinity near Mien-Hua canyon.
      3. Add the sound speed section plots in Figure 3 ( or 2)
      4. Add the some reviews of 3D modeling
      5. Check the outline of POMA.

After talking to you at noon, I realized that the plots in the draft of 3D paper are all integrated from bottom to surface, the same manner as YT did in his plots.  You can check them out too if you want.

        Hi Jinshan,

        Thanks, great, I see this.

        - I am bit lost on what the Fig 3 a,b,c are. Can you improve all captions of the figures?

        -  I also don't know which version of the paper is attached. Can you compile a most update version with all figures so far in it? Make sure to add a number v(i) for the version (not a v(i).(j), only one number is fine, i.e: v1, v2, v3.

        - Include also a tar file with all figures and all latex files.

        Thanks a lot,

        Pierre

Don't foget my email of 10/30/2009 10:01 AM which suggested to:

      -  Let's do horizontal and vertical slices in what you computed (or 3D visualization, you could select all TL small than a certain value and color those),

      - compare the 3D estimates at different numerical range-angle resolution (to show computational convergence),

      - and then you have your jasa-el paper.  Let's try to move rapidly on this.

      And then:

      - you and I need to work on the outline based on what we had discussed and what you presented at the asa meeting in Texas.
      - can we also submit a paper to this asa- meeting?
