He received his Bachelor&#8217;s degree and Master&#8217;s degree in the same field from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He was a recipient of the S.N. Bose Scholarship, offered to select undergraduates to perform research in the United States. Pursuant to the scholarship and a follow-up internship, he worked in the MSEAS lab itself for two consecutive summers.\n\nAbhinav is currently working on developing state-of-the-art, uncertainty quantification, data assimilation and optimal sampling methods.
